Sit with me
Finalist in the Kangaroo Valley Art Prize 2020
S O L D
Oil on Board
450x450mm
Finding comfort in isolation, the bunny became my muse. What was purchased as an easter gift became a friendly companion during lonely days. The bunny sat where placed and did not object to maintaining the pose when asked to sit for hours at a time. Using a limited palette and muted tones the bunny appears familiar and friendly. There is a sense you could take your place on the chair and sit with me.
